The Fun really kicks in on Saturday with the Albuquerque Pride Parade. The parade takes place along Central ave. from Girard to San Pedro. It starts at 10:00 am and is a free event open to all ages. Albuquerque Pride Inc. has worked hard to make the parade fun, safe and enjoyable for all. From safety rules for the floats, encouragement to make the floats POP and a plan for clean up after the parade, it is sure to be an event to remember!
We have floats, classic cars, motorcycles, horses, dancers and lots of excitement in the 2nd largest parade in New Mexico.
The Celebration continues with our main event at Expo NM. Albuquerque Pride is excited to bring dance, music, expression, art, fun and diversity to PrideFest 2016. This annual event averages about 9,000 people and brings people from all over the Southwest.
In addition to our three New Mexico Pride Titleholders, ABQ Pride will bring many local and national talents to the Main stage. We have Colby O’Donis, Lazaro from American Idol, Pablo Hernandez of Andrew Christian, Julian Serrano, Danny Dash Andrews America’s #1 Michael Jackson impersonator, YouTube’s most popular singing lesbian “Duo” Bria and Chrissy, Severo y Groupo Fuego and lots of local entertainers to entertain the masses!
